i belive that the reason why some of the masively multiplayer onlinegames that i play does not produce any sound is because of my sound card. i wnan know wat is a sound card and how do i make it work thank you.

your sound card is similiar to your video card being that video card controls video and sound card produces sound. if you have a faulty sound card first try to reinstall the driver, but may be better to just replace it, if your sound card is “on board” meaning attached to the mother board you can look into a pci soundcard.
